The Barbados Police Service is on the scene in Farm Road, St. George, where skeletal remains were found.
Acting Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Stephen Griffith, told CBC News that police were notified around 6:15 a.m. and on searching the "wooded area" discovered the human remains.
